Sri Pranap is a dynamic academician with a keen interest in formulating customized methodologies for imparting engineering subjects to Architecture students. He is a qualified civil engineer by profession with graduation from Anna University and due to his keen interest in concrete technology went on to pursue his master's in structural engineering from the Government Engineering College – Erode (Formerly IRTT). Before joining McGAN’s Ooty School of Architecture, Pranap had served in several prestigious institutions in various academic capacities. During his tenure at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai he has worked on a funded research project sponsored by the Govt. of India – Department of Science and Technology – Science and Engineering Research Board. Also, he has succeeded in various positions offered to him during his tenure at various prestigious Institutions. Sri Pranap owing to his dynamism and willingness to push his limits has organized and as well actively participated in international and national conferences and symposiums on the subject of his interest. To his credit, he has published 3 papers in the National conference, 3 papers in international conferences, 2 Indian patents and 4 papers in Scopus Indexed Journals. In addition, he received Best Teacher Award, Digital Guru Award, Favorite Faculty Award and Emerging Scientist Award. Pranap is an active life member of Indian Society for Technical Education and is always willing to deliver lectures on his domain to curious knowledge-savvy communities.
