As an Associate Professor at McGAN'S Ooty School of Architecture, I blend diverse academic and administrative responsibilities, drawing from my rich educational background in architecture from BIT Mesra and IIT Roorkee. My professional journey, encompassing roles as a Senior Research Fellow at IIT Roorkee and Architect at Agrawal & Agrawal Architects and VISARG Design Studio, has endowed me with a profound understanding of design thinking and the intuitive architectural process. In my current role, I teach subjects like Sustainable Design and Urban Housing and handle significant administrative duties, shaping students' academic and professional paths. My commitment to academia is complemented by my involvement in supervising projects like the ANDC Trophy, coordinating faculty development programs, and organizing guest lectures, reflecting my active engagement in contemporary architectural discourse. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, I effectively connect with a diverse student body. My proficiency in a range of architectural and research software bolsters my teaching and research. I advocate for an educational approach that integrates theory with practical application, fostering an intellectually stimulating and professionally relevant environment. My research interests, including housing design, space architecture, and biomorphic design, align with my passion for addressing societal and environmental challenges through innovative architectural solutions.
